What a difference a decade makes!\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s hard to believe that ten years ago, Taylor Swift<\/a><\/strong> was preparing to tour in support of her second studio album\u00a0Fearless\u00a0<\/em>while\u00a0Adele<\/a><\/strong> had just won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. As for\u00a0Beyon<\/strong>c\u00e9<\/strong>, she was still releasing tracks from her third studio album\u00a0I Am\u2026 Sasha Fierce.<\/em><\/p>\n

Flash forward to today and Swift is now the biggest pop star on the planet, having released six studio albums and racking up two Album of the Year awards in the process. Adele is one of the best-selling artists of all time<\/a>\u00a0and Beyonc\u00e9 is, well, Beyonc\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Oh, how things have changed!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even the 2009 Grammys award ceremony now seems worlds away.<\/p>\n

Lady Gaga<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0had just received her first nomination for her chart-topping single “Just Dance”\u00a0whileLil Wayne<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0still dominated the rap categories.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Miley Cyrus<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0teamed up with a surprise star for a country duet\u00a0while the world had not yet been graced with the presence of\u00a0Pharrell Williams<\/a><\/strong>‘ now\u00a0infamous Arby’s hat.\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Needless to say, it was a much simpler time.<\/p>\n
