It’s almost time for the 2019 Grammys!<\/p>\n

In just a few days, music’s biggest stars will gather at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to celebrate the work of their peers. Kendrick Lamar<\/a><\/strong> and Drake<\/a><\/strong> head into the night with the most nominations<\/a>\u2014earning eight and seven, respectively. Brandi Carlile<\/strong> is also a top contender with six nods and Cardi B<\/a><\/strong>, Childish Gambino<\/strong> and Maren Morris<\/strong> are up in five categories each.<\/p>\n

However, these stars face some tough competition from a few newbies. H.E.R.<\/strong>, one of the\u00a0musicians up for Best New Artist, is also in the running in five categories, including Album of the Year. Chloe x Halle<\/strong>, additional\u00a0Best New Artist nominees, are going up against some heavy hitters, too\u2014including Jay-Z<\/a><\/strong> and Beyonc\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category.<\/p>\n

Luke Combs<\/strong>, Greta Van Fleet<\/strong>, Dua Lipa<\/strong>, Margo Price<\/strong>, Bebe Rexha<\/strong> and Jorja Smith<\/strong> are the other nominees in the Best New Artist category.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
