Princess Eugenie<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and Jack Brooksbank<\/a><\/strong>are\u00a0following in the footsteps of\u00a0Meghan Markle<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and Prince Harry<\/a><\/strong>again.<\/p>\n

The wedding\u00a0gown that Eugenie, Harry’s cousin,\u00a0wore at her and Jack’s October 2018 nuptials will be\u00a0put on display at Windsor Castle by the Royal Collection Trust<\/a>. The princess\u00a0had worn a long sleeve, white,\u00a0low back wedding dress by Peter Pilotto<\/strong> and Christopher De Vos<\/strong>. The gown was designed to show off the long scar she sustained from surgery she underwent\u00a0at age 12 to correct scoliosis.<\/p>\n

“The fabric of the dress, also designed by Mr. Pilotto and Mr. De Vos, includes a number of symbols that are meaningful to Princess Eugenie,” the Royal Collection Trust said in its announcement on Friday. “They include the White Rose of York and ivy, representing the couple’s home, Ivy Cottage. The symbols were reinterpreted in a garland motif which was woven into a jacquard of silk, cotton and viscose blend using an intricate weaving technique.”<\/p>\n

Eugenie’s\u00a0diamond and emerald drop earrings\u2014a wedding gift from her husband, and the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara her grandmother\u00a0Queen Elizabeth II<\/strong> had lent her will also be put on display, as will Jack’s wedding outfit\u2014a black and gray suit with a blue waistcoat.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Last fall, Meghan’s Givenchy wedding dress from her and Harry’s May 2018 royal wedding was put on display at Windsor Castle<\/a>, as was her long veil and diamond and platinum bandeau tiara that the queen lent her, Harry’s frockcoat uniform of the Household Cavalry, and their niece and nephew Prince George<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0Princess Charlotte<\/a><\/strong>‘s page boy and bridesmaid outfits.<\/p>\n

Like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,\u00a0Eugenie and Jack had exchanged vows at St George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n

In 2011, the ivory and white satin\u00a0<\/strong>Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown that\u00a0Kate Middleton<\/a><\/strong> wore to her and\u00a0Prince William<\/a><\/strong>‘s royal wedding\u00a0went on display in Buckingham Palace, along with the\u00a0Cartier “Halo” tiara she borrowed from the queen. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had wed in Westminster Abbey in London.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The Royal Collection Trust’s exhibition of Eugenie and Jack’s wedding outfits will open\u00a0at Windsor Castle on March 1 and close on April 22.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
