Claudia Brant<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>is going home with a Grammy tonight!\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Twitter<\/a>, the official account for the Grammys announced\u00a0Brant\u00a0as the winner for the\u00a0Best Latin Pop Album category.\u00a0She won for her notable album, Sincera<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking to the The Recording Academy<\/a> on the red carpet, the Argentinian-born singer said this nomination was special.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been a song writer for my entire life, writing songs for other people,” she starts off saying. “This is the first time that I get for an American Grammy, for a record that is mine.”<\/p>\n

Although,\u00a0Claudia\u00a0is going home with a Grammy, the list of nominees in the\u00a0Best Latin Pop Album category were all incredibly talented.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She\u00a0beat out\u00a0Pablo Albor\u00e1n<\/strong> for his album\u00a0Prometo<\/em>,\u00a0Natalia Lafourcade<\/strong> for her\u00a0Muses Vol. 2<\/em>\u00a0album,\u00a0Raquel Sof\u00eda<\/strong> for\u00a02:00 AM<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Carlos Vives<\/strong> for\u00a0Vives<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Other notable Latin artists nominated tonight are\u00a0Luis Miguel<\/strong>,\u00a0J Balvin<\/a><\/strong>,Cardi B<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Bad Bunny\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Camila Cabello<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The show hasn’t started yet, but it’s going to be full of fun as\u00a0the “Havana” singer is performing the opening segment of the 2019 Grammys. Plus, Balvin, Ricky Martin<\/a><\/strong>, Arturo Sandoval<\/strong> and Young Thug<\/strong>\u00a0are joining her on stage.<\/p>\n
