Ariana Grande<\/a><\/strong> has one more problem with the Recording Academy.<\/p>\n

After choosing not to perform or attend<\/a> the 2019 Grammys<\/a> after clashing with producers over her song selections, the “Thank U, Next” singer was still watching the big event on Sunday night and was tweeting her thoughts.<\/p>\n

And when her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller<\/a><\/strong>, who tragically\u00a0passed away from a drug overdose<\/a>\u00a0in September 2018, lost his category, Best Rap Album, to Cardi B<\/a><\/strong>, Grande took to the social media platform to make her thoughts on his posthumous loss known.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Right after Cardi B was announced as the winner for her album\u00a0No Privacy<\/em>, Grande tweeted (and then quickly deleted) a few reaction tweets, allegedly writing, “trash” in one, “f–k” in another and then “literal bulls–t” in a third.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

She also deleted a response to a fan, saying, “THEY INVITED HIS PARENTS OUT. NO.”<\/p>\n

Then Grande responded to a fan who tweeted they didn’t think the “7 Rings” singer was shading Cardi with her reactionary tweets.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

And when another fan called Cardi “trash,” Grande defended the “Money” rapper.<\/p>\n

“she’s not at all and that’s not what i meant and u know that,” she responded<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

In her since-deleted tweet, Grande\u00a0was referring to Miller’s family being invited to attend\u00a0the Grammys on his behalf, with his mother\u00a0Karen Meyers<\/strong>,\u00a0attended the ceremony\u00a0with<\/a> Cazzie David<\/strong> by her side.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

David is the ex-girlfriend of\u00a0Pete Davidson<\/a><\/strong>, Grande’s ex-fiance, and\u00a0her surprising friendship with Meyers made headlines when it was revealed in November 2018.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It’s still a relatively new friendship, and primarily limited to social media, but Cazzie and Karen think very highly of each other,” a source previously told E! News<\/a>. “Cazzie reached out to Karen with her condolences after Mac died and since then she and Karen have been exchanging messages.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Grande, who won her first Grammy<\/a> for\u00a0Best Pop Vocal Album\u00a0for\u00a0Sweetener<\/em> after choosing to boycott the ceremony,\u00a0has previously posted and then\u00a0deleted a tribute<\/a>\u00a0to Miller, who was 26 at the time of his death, in December 2018.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
