Here’s the Situation with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino<\/a><\/strong>: He’s been in prison for a month now, and his friends miss him.<\/p>\n

On January 15,\u00a0the 37-year-old\u00a0Jersey Shore<\/em> star\u00a0began an\u00a0eight-month sentence for tax evasion<\/a>. On Friday, a month after he\u00a0was incarcerated, co-star\u00a0Jenni “JWoww” Farley<\/strong> posted a selfie on Instagram<\/a>, writing, “Missing my friend @mikethesituation.”<\/p>\n

“SAME,” co-star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi<\/strong> commented.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Jersey Shore<\/em> stars have rallied behind Mike amid his legal woes. They even attended his sentencing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mike’s wife\u00a0Lauren Sorrentino<\/strong> also responded to JWoww, commenting with a heart emoji.<\/p>\n

The two got married in November<\/a>, less than a month after he was sentenced. She has continuously voiced support for her husband online. On Thursday, Valentine’s Day, she posted throwback videos\u00a0from his proposal, writing<\/a>, “Today is our Engageaversary! Mike proposed to me in Miami on Feb 14th 2018 making today extra sweet for the rest of our lives! \u2665\ufe0fHappy Valentine’s Day!”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

On the day Mike began his sentence, she posted on her Instagram page, “To the strongest man I know, I love you endlessly, see you soon honey\u00a0#FreeSitch.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Before arriving at the prison, Mike bid farewell to his fans via an Instagram Live video, which showed him riding in a car with Lauren. She joked she would save money on food while he was away and promised\u00a0to get him a Funfetti cake upon his return.<\/p>\n

“The Situation will reveal himself in 2019,” Mike said. “He is currently under construction…He’s under new management right now.”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Mike\u00a0is serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional\u00a0Institution\u00a0in Otisville, New York, located about 70 miles north of New York City and known as a\u00a0prison where white collar criminals are often placed. In 2009, Forbes<\/a> named it one of “America’s 10 cushiest prisons.” Failed Fyre Festival co-founder\u00a0Billy McFarland<\/strong> is also an inmate there, serving six years for fraud.<\/p>\n

Sorrentino’s brother\u00a0Marc Sorrentino<\/strong> was also sentenced\u00a0at the same time as him after\u00a0pleading guilty to\u00a0aiding in the preparation of a false and fraudulent tax return. He is serving a 2-year sentence<\/a> at a different federal prison, in New Jersey.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
