Lupita Nyong’o<\/a><\/strong> has proved she is more than just an A-list actress. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Aside from starring in blockbuster hits like Black Panther,<\/em> Lupita has become one of the most recognizable fashion icons in the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Having been named the “Most Beautiful” by People<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>magazine in 2014, the actress became the first black spokesperson for Lanc\u00f4me and has graced the covers of Vogue, Allure<\/em> and Elle<\/em> magazine.<\/p>\n

She is also known for her signature afro,\u00a0walking the red carpets of the Met Gala to Cannes Film Festival in looks which embrace her natural beauty and African roots.<\/p>\n

“My hair is something that, historically, has been shunned,” she said in an interview with Porter Magazine<\/em><\/a>.<\/em> “Being featured on the cover of a magazine fulfills me as it is an opportunity to show other dark, kinky-haired people\u2026that they are beautiful just the way they are.”<\/p>\n

Stating Eartha Kitt<\/strong> and Katherine Hepburn<\/strong> as style inspirations, the Star Wars<\/em> actress has given us many memorable looks over the past few years.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

And, with the Oscars right around the corner,\u00a0everyone will be waiting\u00a0to see if she tops the stunning light\u00a0blue custom-made Prada gown<\/a>\u00a0she wore to the ceremony in 2014, the same year she won Best Supporting Actress for her role in\u00a012 Years a Slave.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
