UPDATE: Danielle Staub<\/strong> and Marty Caffrey<\/strong> have finalized their divorce, six months after he filed and less than a year since they wed in May 2018.\u00a0“The last several months have been extremely difficult for Danielle and she is very glad to be able to focus on her future and the next chapter of her life,” Staub’s rep\u00a0Steven Honig<\/strong> said in a statement to E! News. He confirmed Staub appeared in court on Thursday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Now that my divorce will be final, I feel great relief as well as sadness,” Caffrey told Page Six<\/a>. “I bear [Danielle] no ill will, and I wish her the best in everything she does.”<\/p>\n

Danielle Staub and Marty Caffrey’s marriage is over, three months after their wedding.<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old\u00a0Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em>\u00a0star’s third husband filed\u00a0for divorce on August 14 at a New Jersey court, E! News has confirmed. Two days earlier, there was an incident at their home and the two filed\u00a0temporary restraining orders<\/a>\u00a0against\u00a0each other. They dropped them\u00a0a week after the divorce filing, E! News has learned.<\/p>\n

In July, Staub’s rep had told E! News, “Danielle is having some difficulties with her marriage<\/a> right now and is hoping everything will work out.”<\/p>\n

Staub has not commented on the divorce and has made no mention of a split from Caffrey on social media, where she has remained active.<\/p>\n

The reality star,\u00a0who has been engaged 20 times,\u00a0and Caffrey\u00a0got engaged<\/a>\u00a0in mid-2017 after dating for more than a year.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Staub and Caffrey\u00a0wed in the Bahamas<\/a>\u00a0this past May.<\/p>\n

They tied the knot in front of family and friends, including Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em> stars\u00a0Melissa Gorga<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0Margaret<\/strong> Josephs<\/strong>, who served as bridesmaids,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<\/strong>Teresa Giudice<\/a><\/strong>, who\u00a0shared\u00a0maid of honor\u00a0duties with Staub’s two daughters.<\/p>\n
