Wayne’s World<\/em>, party time, excellent!<\/p>\n

Mike Myers<\/a><\/strong> and Dana Carvey<\/strong> received a very warm welcome to the stage at the 2019 Oscars<\/a><\/strong> on Sunday. The Wayne’s World<\/em> co-stars, reunited to introduced\u00a0Bohemian Rhapsody<\/em>, which is nominated for Best Film at the Academy Awards.<\/p>\n

The actors\u00a0share a special connection to the Queen<\/strong> song of the same name, as Wayne’s World<\/em> fans might recall, the\u00a0duo sang along to\u00a0the track in their hit 1992 film.<\/p>\n

Myers noted during their presentation that the song “played a large part” in the success of Wayne’s World<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“We’re humbled to be associated with that brilliant song,” Myers said.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“It’s our pleasure to introduce a best picture nominee that celebrates the life of Freddie Mercury<\/strong> through the genius of Queen’s music,” Carvey told the audience.<\/p>\n
