Stan Lee<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0actor<\/a> Burt Reynolds\u00a0<\/strong>were among the late stars who\u00a0passed away over the past year who were honored in the annual\u00a0<\/em>In Memoriam\u00a0tribute at the\u00a02019 Oscars<\/a><\/strong> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Lee, co-creator of Marvel Comics superheroes such as Spider-Man, The Hulk, Iron Man and Black Panther, died at age 95<\/a> this past November. On Sunday,\u00a0Black Panther<\/em> became the first Marvel film to win an Oscar.<\/p>\n

Reynolds, who was nominated for an Oscar for his supporting role in Boogie Nights<\/em>, passed away at age 82<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0September.<\/p>\n

Others included in the\u00a0In Memoriam tribute included\u00a0Laverne & Shirley<\/em><\/a> star<\/a>\u00a0Penny Marshall<\/strong>, who died at age 75 in December<\/a>,\u00a0Superman<\/em> actress\u00a0Margot Kidder<\/strong>, who died at age 69<\/a> last May, Oscars telecast and film producer\u00a0Craig Zadan<\/strong>, who died at age 69 last August, and iconic\u00a0The Princess Bride<\/em>,\u00a0Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid<\/em> and\u00a0All The President’s Men\u00a0<\/em>writer William Goldman<\/strong>,\u00a0who died at age 87 in November.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
