One of the best performances at the 2019 Oscars<\/a> may have happened outside the Dolby Theatre.<\/p>\n

On Sunday evening, Hollywood’s biggest stars headed to the Elton John<\/a><\/strong> AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party.<\/p>\n

During the auction portion of the event, guests were treated to an unexpected surprise. Elton welcomed Rocketman<\/em>\u00a0star Taron Egerton<\/a><\/strong> to the stage for a special performance of “Tiny Dancer.”<\/p>\n

“Rocketmen \u00a0@eltonjohn,” Taron shared on Instagram<\/a> with the heart emoji\u00a0 after the special performance.<\/p>\n

Rocketman<\/em>\u00a0tells the incredible story of Elton’s breakthrough years. The film, scheduled for release on May 31, follows his journey of transformation from shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight into international superstar.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

As it turns out, Elton and Taron’s duet wasn’t the only memorable moment of the night.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The singer also performed alongside The Killers<\/strong> before the band played several of their biggest hits. According to an eyewitness, Paris Hilton<\/a><\/strong> was happily dancing with everyone surrounding her.<\/p>\n

“She brought so much fun energy with her everywhere she went,” a source shared with E! News. Teddi Mellencamp<\/strong> and Aisha Tyler<\/a><\/strong> were also loving the band who performed their\u00a0singles including “Mr. Brightside.” \u00a0<\/p>\n

Other guests spotted at the party included Heidi Klum<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Kristin Chenoweth<\/a><\/strong>, Terry Crews<\/a><\/strong>, Paris Jackson<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0Tiffany Haddish<\/a><\/strong>. Many lucky attendees\u00a0toasted to the nominees with specialty cocktails from C\u00ceROC Vodka and Tequila Don Julio.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The event ultimately raised over $6.3 million for the global effort to end AIDS. Safe to say it was quite the successful event.<\/p>\n
