Calling all ’90s teens, this TV news is for you!<\/p>\n

If\u00a0you clutched your $6 pearls and called your bestie the second you found out Donna Martin caught her mother having an affair, then you’ll be happy to know that the\u00a0Beverly Hills, 90210<\/em> drama is coming back.<\/p>\n

Fox is reviving the soap opera<\/a> with a new limited series. It might have a new name\u201490210<\/em>\u2014but the scandal and insatiable romances should still be the same.<\/p>\n

Come summer, old fans and new\u00a0can tune into the new show. Best of all? Most of the original cast from the ’90s series are returning.<\/p>\n

Tori Spelling<\/a><\/strong>, Jason Priestley<\/a><\/strong>, Jennie Garth<\/a><\/strong>, Ian Ziering<\/a><\/strong>, Gabrielle Carteris<\/strong> and Brian Austin Green<\/a><\/strong> are set to star in a six-episode event series.<\/p>\n

Two main actors from the original series have yet to join the lineup, Luke Perry<\/a><\/strong> and Shannen Doherty<\/a><\/strong>. Perry is currently starring in The CW’s Riverdale<\/em>, however, Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em> reports, “the door is open,” so the two could still star in the revival series.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

If you love drama and scandal, expect to see that in the revival series\u00a0because the\u00a0show comes with\u00a0“a big twist,” according to a press release sent to E! News.<\/p>\n

According to Fox, the cast will\u00a0portray “heightened versions of themselves in a brand-new serialized drama\u2014with a healthy dose of irreverence\u2014that is inspired by their real lives and relationships.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The 1990s show aired for 10 seasons, and it was rebooted in 2008 with the show name changing to 90210<\/em>. It ran for five season on The CW and Garth, Doherty and Spelling starred in the series.<\/p>\n

Beverly Hills, 90210<\/em>\u00a0was basically the\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/em>\u00a0of the 1990s, and now soap opera lovers\u00a0will get to join the fun all over again.\u00a0Hopefully,\u00a0with a lot more\u00a0drama and romance in store.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
