Love is in the air for Ed Sheeran<\/a><\/strong> and Cherry Seaborn<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

The Sun<\/a><\/em>‘s Dan Wootton<\/strong> reports the “Perfect” singer and\u00a0his hockey star sweetheart tied-the-knot in an intimate ceremony.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the two\u00a0got married just before Christmas at the superstar’s English country estate in Suffolk.<\/p>\n

The publication claims celebrities weren’t invited to the wedding, which means there was no sign of his pals\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Rita Ora<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0John Mayer<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0at the top secret event.<\/p>\n

If anything, The Sun<\/em>\u00a0reports the ceremony was so small and intimate about 40\u00a0friends and family members attended.<\/p>\n

“It was very quiet\u00a0\u2013 just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family and the priest,” a source told the outlet.\u00a0“He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them \u2013 just a tiny winter wedding.”<\/p>\n

Adding, “Neither of them were that fussed about making a big deal about it.”<\/p>\n

The “Thinking Out Loud” star popped the big question<\/a> in December 2017 and shared the exciting engagement news a month later on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“Got myself a fianc\u00e9 just before new year,” he captioned his post, which was a photo of him kissing Cherry. “We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The couple has been very private throughout their engagement<\/a>\u00a0but this isn’t the first time rumors have swirled about their marriage. Back in Feb. 2018, fans thought Ed and Cherry secretly tied-the-knot when he was seen wearing a ring on that<\/em> finger.<\/p>\n

“I’m not married,” he clarified<\/a> at the 2018 BRIT Awards red carpet.<\/p>\n

Adding, “I never saw why men didn’t wear engagement rings. It’s the same commitment either way. Cherry made it for me herself out of silver clay. I really like it.”<\/p>\n

Last August, the “Shape of You” singer\u00a0hinted during an Instagram Q&A<\/a> that the wedding “maybe already happened,” when a fan asked “When’s the wedding?”<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old singer chatted with Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em> a few days after his Insta Q&A and didn’t confirm or deny his\u00a0social media\u00a0statements. Instead, he revealed what he would like his wedding to be like.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“I don’t like large groups of people at the best of times so…. I never wanted a wedding that was lots of people,” he said.\u00a0Saying that small,\u00a0simple ceremonies have “a good vibe.”<\/p>\n

Does that sound familiar? If\u00a0The Sun<\/em>‘s reports are true, then Ed really did have a clear vision for his wedding\u00a0ceremony.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Fans with eagle eyes noticed Sheeran wearing what looked like a second band from his silver clay\u00a0ring\u00a0Seaborn made him.\u00a0The\u00a0Instagram post<\/a>\u00a0was\u00a0shared on\u00a0Feb. 17.<\/p>\n

In mid-January, the “Happier” singer shared a\u00a0couple of snaps<\/a>\u00a0on a tropical vacation, which many are speculating\u00a0was his honeymoon. However, nothing has been confirmed.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Both Ed and\u00a0Cherry have kept their lips sealed on the marriage news, and haven’t confirmed or denied the reports. E! has reached out to the singer’s\u00a0rep for comment.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
