Luke Perry<\/a><\/strong>‘s co-stars are sending him love amid his hospitalization<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the 52-year-old Riverdale<\/em> actor and Beverly Hills, 90210<\/em> alum was hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering a stroke.\u00a0A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson said that authorities responded to a 911 call about an unspecified medical request, made from the\u00a0Perry’s home in Sherman Oaks, Calif. at 9:39 a.m. on Wednesday. Paramedics then transported Perry to a hospital in the area.<\/p>\n

Perry’s rep tells E! News that he remains\u00a0in the hospital under observation, and despite reports, he\u00a0is not in a coma.<\/p>\n

As news of his hospitalization surfaced on Thursday, many of Perry’s former\u00a0Beverly Hills, 90210<\/em>\u00a0co-stars sent well wishes to their friend.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“My friend. Holding you tight and giving you my strength,” Shannen Doherty<\/a><\/strong> wrote on Instagram<\/a> alongside a photo from the TV series. “You got this.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Ian Ziering<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0also took to social media to pay tribute to his pal. Along with a picture of the duo, Ziering wrote, “No words can express what my heart feels hearing today’s shocking news. Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Riverdale<\/em>‘s\u00a0John Behlmann<\/strong> also tweeted<\/a>, “Wishing all the best and a safe recovery for Luke Perry. I only barely met and worked with him, but he seems as good a man as you encounter.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
