News that&nbsp;<strong>Roger Alvarado<\/strong> was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on Thursday. Police say he climbed on to the&nbsp;second floor balcony and used a brick to break Swift&#8217;s window to enter property. The security system alerted police where they found Alvarado. He is charged with burglary, criminal content because he violated order of protection, criminal mischief and possession of burglar tools(brick).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>E! News has learned Taylor was not home at the time&nbsp;Alvarado&nbsp;broke in.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second time in less than a year that Alvarado has been arrested for breaking into Swift&#8217;s home, he was previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/928949\/man-arrested-at-taylor-swift-s-nyc-home-after-break-in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">arrested after breaking into the 29-year-old singer&#8217;s apartment<\/a> in April.&nbsp;At the time, the NYPD charged him with stalking in the first degree, burglary, criminal mischief in the third degree and criminal trespassing in the third degree.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"61.744386873921\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"14.818652849741\">\n<p>On Dec. 7, Alvarado&nbsp;pleaded guilty to&nbsp;attempted burglary and was promised a six-month prison sentence.&nbsp;In February, Alvarado was&nbsp;officially sentenced to six months in jail, though he had already served the majority of his time, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2019\/02\/05\/taylor-swifts-accused-stalker-sentenced-to-six-months-in-jail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A Manhattan District Attorney&#8217;s Office spokesperson told E! News at the time of the sentencing in February that Alvarado&nbsp;had accepted a plea deal, which states he&nbsp;will serve&nbsp;six months in jail and be on probation for&nbsp;five years. He also has to abide by a protection order for the next eight&nbsp;years, the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"video-int-txt-3\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"33.365731462926\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-video-text\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"10.338677354709\">\n<p>It was just yesterday that Swift <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1021147\/the-biggest-revelations-from-taylor-swift-s-most-candid-letter-yet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">opened up about her safety<\/a> in her letter for <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/culture\/celebrities\/a26628467\/taylor-swift-30th-birthday-lessons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Elle<\/a><\/em>&#8216;s April issue, &#8220;30 Things I Learned Before Turning 30.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My fear of violence has continued into my personal life,&#8221; Swift wrote. &#8220;I carry QuikClot army grade bandage dressing, which is for gunshot or stab wounds. Websites and tabloids have taken it upon themselves to post every home address I&#8217;ve ever had online.
