That much is clear.<\/p>\n<p>The Tesla CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/user-209448905\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dropped a surprise song<\/a>&nbsp;called &#8220;RIP Harambe&#8221; on SoundClould under the account name Emo G Records. The album art (if you can call it that?) features Harambe memorialized in some ornate medallion with a crown on top of his head.<\/p>\n<p>At first, Musk did not say much about the song when he announced its debut on Twitter. In a subsequent tweet, however, he wrote, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1111918554398363649\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">I&#8217;m disappointed<\/a>&nbsp;that my record label failed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s still time! He could be Elon Musk: CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and record producer extraordinaire.<\/p>\n<p>The single &#8220;RIP Harambe&#8221; is just under two minutes long and is virtually all auto-tune. It memorializes the gorilla and essentially imagines what he would be doing now if he were still alive.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"57.5\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"5\">\n<p>Musk tweeted at artists <strong>BloodPop<\/strong> and <strong>Yung Jake<\/strong>, so they, too, should be given credit for the song.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-3\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"49.891780821918\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"9.0712328767123\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/789178\/awkward-alert-the-cincinnati-zoo-is-not-having-your-harambe-memes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Harambe became a viral sensation<\/a> and meme in 2016. A 4-year-old boy entered the gorilla&#8217;s enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo in May 2016 and Harambe ended up dragging the boy around for a few moments. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/05\/30\/us\/gorilla-killed-after-child-enters-enclosure-at-cincinnati-zoo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Harambe was then shot and killed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The song begins, &#8220;<span>RIP Harambe we love you \/ And we thinkin&#8217; about you.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The rapper then chimes in, &#8220;All y&#8217;all gorillas, we love you.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-4\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"60\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"10\">\n<p>Lyrics include the following: &#8220;<span>RIP Harambe \/ Sipping on some Bombay \/ We on our way to Heaven \/ Amen, Amen.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Another line in the song goes, &#8220;<\/span><span>RIP Harambe \/ Smoking on some strong hay \/ In the gorilla zoo \/ And we thinking about you.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The song asserts that the musicians are constantly &#8220;thinking about [Harambe].&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-6\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"60.325358851675\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"16.966507177033\">\n<p>Towards the end of the song, the artists ask, &#8220;<span>Where my gorillas at? \/ We miss you \/ We really, really miss you.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>So far, the song has been played over 484,000 times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Based on Musk&#8217;s tweets from Saturday and into Sunday, he was having some sort of competition when it came to different emojis. On Saturday, he&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1111871174160474112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tweeted the duck emoji&nbsp;<\/a>with no other text. That one tweet received over 21,000 retweets and 182,000 likes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"html-external-7\" data-type=\"async\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"33.5\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-html-text\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"7\">\n<p>A second tweet followed that just said &#8220;Lame,&#8221; making it a play on emoji words with the political phrase &#8220;lame duck.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He wrote later, &#8220;The quality of emojis varies wildly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-8\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"57.826589595376\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"11.375722543353\">\n<p>Based on the social media interactions, the duck emoji response far exceeded the Emo G Records announcement (get it?).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1111926388435488773\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Duck emoji defeats<\/a> Emo G Records.
