Or maybe&nbsp;coming face to face with the&nbsp;cast of&nbsp;<em>The Simpsons&nbsp;<\/em>is more your idea of eternal bliss.<\/p>\n<p>All of the above and dozens more have sat down opposite <strong>James Lipton&nbsp;<\/strong>on&nbsp;<em>Inside the Actors Studio&nbsp;<\/em>over the course of 25 years, the format reliably the same time after time: an in-depth interview, followed by&nbsp;a list of 10 questions. Which is why we know that&nbsp;Pitt&#8217;s favorite curse word is &#8220;c&#8211;k.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For its 23rd season, the show has moved to a new network, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ovationtv.com\/inside-the-actors-studio\/?video=6076373713001&amp;season=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ovation<\/a>, and will be under the care of a rotating cast of hosts (the ageless Lipton somehow turned 93 along the way), starting with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/alec_baldwin\">Alec Baldwin<\/a><\/strong>interviewing <strong>Henry Winkler<\/strong>. Baldwin was Lipton&#8217;s first-ever guest&nbsp;in 1994, but the series premiere featured <strong>Paul Newman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Because, Paul Newman.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"57.5\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"5\">\n<p>Figuring there was no better time to take a quick look at the past before the new era&nbsp;begins tonight at 10 p.m., here are some of the best moments wrought by&nbsp;<em>Inside the Actors Studio&nbsp;<\/em>over the years:<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"photo-txt-3\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"40.867346938776\">\n<div class=\"column post-content__image--left post-content__image\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"32\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image--full\" src=\"https:\/\/akns-images.eonline.com\/eol_images\/Entire_Site\/2019911\/rs_779x1024-191011170145-1024-bradley-cooper-inside-actors-studio.jpg?fit=inside|900:auto&amp;output-quality=90\" title=\"Bradley Cooper, Inside the Actors Studio\" alt=\"Bradley Cooper, Inside the Actors Studio\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"image__credits\">Heidi Gutman\/Bravo\/NBCU Photo Bank<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-photo-text\" readability=\"24.721955896453\">\n<p>1. <strong>Everything Involving Bradley Cooper:<\/strong> An&nbsp;inquisitive student at Pace University&#8217;s Actors Studio Drama School who got more screen time than some during the audience Q&amp;A portion of the show was&nbsp;none other than&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/bradley_cooper\">Bradley Cooper<\/a><\/strong>, who made several unwitting cameos that were&nbsp;handily unearthed once he himself became a huge star.<\/p>\n<p>You could see the future Oscar nominee picking&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/robert_de_niro\">Robert De Niro<\/a><\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/sean_penn\">Sean Penn<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s brains&nbsp;in the late &#8217;90s (about <em>Awakenings&nbsp;<\/em>and&nbsp;<em>Hurlyburly<\/em>, respectively), the De Niro episode coming 14 years before Cooper would play his son in&nbsp;<em>Silver Linings Playbook<\/em>. I auditioned him. Everyone&#8217;s Favorite Part:<\/strong>&nbsp;No one has been thanked more than God at the Oscars and the most-cited favorite curse word on&nbsp;<em>Inside the Actors Studio&nbsp;<\/em>is &#8220;motherf&#8211;ker.&#8221; Numerous people apparently like to swear in a foreign language, including Cooper, who cited the Italian translation of &#8220;you motherf&#8211;king c&#8211;ks&#8211;ker,&#8221; and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/natalie_portman\">Natalie Portman<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;went with an Arabic phrase commonly used in Israel that means &#8220;your mother&#8217;s vagina.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"photo-txt-9\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"28.35\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-photo-text\" readability=\"2.7\">\n<p><strong>5. I&#8217;m not at a place yet where I can look back and think, &#8216;Oh this how I\u2026.&#8217; I&#8217;m not ready. And, please, I&#8217;m an animal.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Two months later, she would be a&nbsp;Best Actress Oscar winner for <em>Silver Linings Playbook<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Other actors who&#8217;ve reportedly been asked numerous times to come on but have declined include <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/denzel_washington\">Denzel Washington<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/jack_nicholson\">Jack Nicholson<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/sean_connery\">Sean Connery<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/daniel_day-lewis\">Daniel Day-Lewis<\/a><\/strong>.
