Sam Rockwell<\/a><\/strong> had a lot to celebrate at the 2020 Golden Globes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Sunday evening, the Jojo Rabbit<\/em> actor and his partner Leslie Bibb<\/a><\/strong> hit the red carpet at the 77th Golden Globe Awards. Not only was the veteran actor nominated for his work in Fosse\/Verdon<\/em>, but two of his films\u2014Jojo Rabbit<\/em> and Richard Jewell<\/em>\u2014were up for different prizes.<\/p>\n

“Congratulations! You’ve got several nominations if you look at it,” Ryan Seacrest<\/a><\/strong> noted during his exclusive chat with Rockwell.<\/p>\n

“In a way, you could look at it that way,” the 51-year-old actor expressed. “We got Fosse\/Verdon<\/em>, we got Jojo Rabbit<\/em> and Kathy Bates<\/strong> is here for Richard Jewell<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Still, all of these big nominations didn’t come about without hard work. As Rockwell portrayed famed choreographer Bob Fosse<\/strong> in the FX drama, he made sure to highlight that he went through “a lot of training” for the role.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“A lot of training. I’m a half-assed break dancer,” the Oscar winner added. “The choreographers made it happen.”<\/p>\n

Rockwell was equally humble when discussing his work in Jojo Rabbit<\/em>. Specifically, he praised filmmaker Taika Waititi<\/strong> for his work both acting in and directing the complicated dramedy.<\/p>\n

“Taika’s great at comedy,” Rockwell continued. “It was like Bill Murray<\/a><\/strong> as a gay Nazi, that’s pretty much what I did.”<\/p>\n
