Bradley Cooper<\/a><\/strong> is once again an Academy Award nominee.<\/p>\n

While the 45-year-old star has received several acting nominations for the Oscars<\/a><\/strong> over the years, it’s his role as a producer that landed him a nod this year. On Monday morning, actors Issa Rae<\/a><\/strong> and John Cho<\/a><\/strong> announced the nominees<\/a> for the 2020 Oscars<\/a><\/strong>. During the announcement ceremony, the films nominated for Best Picture were revealed. Among the nominees? Ford v. Ferrari<\/em>, The Irishman<\/em>, Jojo Rabbit<\/em>, Joker<\/em>, Little Women<\/em>, Marriage Story<\/em>, 1917<\/em>, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood<\/em> and Parasite<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It turns out, Cooper is one of the producers on Joker<\/em>, along with Todd Phillips<\/a><\/strong> and Emma Tillinger Koskoff<\/strong>. And when it comes to Best Picture, the producers receive the nominations, which means Cooper is once again in the running for a Best Picture award. As for how Cooper got involved with the film, he has a working history with the director and co-producer, Phillips. The creative duo worked together on The Hangover<\/em> series and have a production company together called Joint Effort.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

This nomination comes exactly one year after Cooper was nominated for his work as an actor and producer on the hit film, A Star Is Born<\/em>. Cooper was also previously nominated as a producer on American Sniper<\/em> at the 2015 Oscars<\/a><\/strong>. That same year, Cooper was also nominated in the Best Actor category for American Sniper<\/em>. At the 2014 Oscars<\/a><\/strong>, Cooper scored a nod for Best Supporting Actor for his work in American Hustle<\/em>. He landed his very first Academy Award nomination at the 2013 Oscars<\/a><\/strong>, where he was nominated for Best Actor for his work in Silver Linings Playbook<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

At the 2019 Oscars<\/a><\/strong>, following the success of A Star Is Born<\/em>, Cooper was up for Actor in a Leading Role, Best Picture (for producing) and Best Adapted Screenplay (for his writing on the film). During the ceremony, Cooper and co-star Lady Gaga<\/a><\/strong> had the audience on the edge of their seats as they performed their hit song<\/a> from the movie, “Shallow.” Gaga took home the award<\/a> for Best Original Song for “Shallow” at the ceremony, winning alongside co-writers Mark Ronson<\/strong>, Anthony Rossomando<\/strong> and Andrew Wyatt<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

So, who will take home Best Picture this year? We’ll have to wait and see what happens on Feb. 9!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
