First comes Miley Cyrus<\/a><\/strong> and Cody Simpson<\/a><\/strong>‘s love, then comes…babies?<\/p>\n

During an interview with Australian podcast The <\/em>Kyle and Jackie O Show<\/em><\/a>, Simpson gave an update on his relationship<\/a> with the “Slide Away<\/a>” singer, which included him answering a question about his plans for the future.<\/p>\n

After some talk about his life and upcoming projects (he has a poetry book, Prince Neptune<\/em>, coming out April 7), host Kyle Sandilands<\/strong> asked the Australian crooner a pretty blunt question.<\/p>\n

“Do you want babies?” the host wondered.<\/p>\n

In response, the singer laughed and said, “None yet, mate.”<\/p>\n

This led to Sandilands asking if Simpson, well, wraps his tool before he fools. Again, laughing, the newly 23-year-old Simpson responded, “I’m cautious. I’m a careful guy.”<\/p>\n

Co-host Jackie O then mercifully interjected with a question about his lady love<\/a>. “How’s everything going with Miley?” she said.<\/p>\n

As he replied, “Yeah, it’s great. We’re amazing. No complaints.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“No, it’s great,” he later added. “Everything’s great.”<\/p>\n

Everything is great, just don’t expect any Australian-American babies anytime soon.<\/p>\n

Although he and Cyrus have pumped the breaks on their PDAs and despite split rumors<\/a>, the pair is still going strong. <\/p>\n

Cyrus\u2014who reached a divorce settlement<\/a> with Liam Hemsworth<\/a><\/strong>in December\u2014recently showered Simpson in gifts<\/a> for his 23rd birthday on Jan. 11, one of them being a doctor bag<\/a> from the 1800s inscribed with his writing alias, Prince Neptune. She also gifted him a vintage pocket watch and chain from the same time period.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

On her Instagram Story, the Disney Channel alum<\/a> gushed over her “best friend.”<\/p>\n

“Happy birthday to my best friend in the entire world @codysimpson. I love you and our pirate life!”<\/p>\n

In another story, she wrote, “Happy birthday to my favorite human to get weird with on the entire earth. @codysimpson I [black heart emoji] u.”<\/p>\n

Clearly, these two are still very much in love. But that’s about it for now.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
