It’s almost time for the 2020 Grammy Awards<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Lizzo<\/a><\/strong> heads into the night with the most nominations<\/a>. She’s up in eight categories, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. However, Billie Eilish<\/a><\/strong> and Lil Nas X<\/strong> follow closely behind with six nods apiece. <\/p>\n

All three of these musicians are first-time nominees<\/a>. They’re also all in the running for Best New Artist along with Black Pumas<\/strong>, Maggie Rogers<\/strong>, Rosal\u00eda<\/strong>, Tank<\/strong> and the Bangas <\/strong>and Yola<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

While fans will have to wait until this Sunday to see who takes home the trophy, one thing is for sure: Whoever wins will be in very good company. Alicia Keys<\/a><\/strong>, Adele<\/a><\/strong>, Carrie Underwood<\/a><\/strong>, John Legend<\/a><\/strong>, Maroon 5<\/a><\/strong> and Christina Aguilera<\/a><\/strong> are just a few of the superstars to win Best New Artist. Dua Lipa<\/strong> also won the award<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

For some, the award is a career breakthrough. For others, it’s a curse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

2008 was a big year for Winehouse. She received a total of eight nominations and six wins before her death in 2011.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
