Jim Carrey<\/a><\/strong> couldn’t help but crack a joke while coming face-to-face with Oscar nominee Margot Robbie<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The funnyman and star of the upcoming animated film Sonic the Hedgehog<\/em> appeared with the Bombshelli <\/em>actress, as well as Queen & Slim<\/em> stars Daniel Kaluuya<\/strong> and pregnant<\/a> Jodie Turner-Smith<\/strong>, on the Graham Norton Show<\/em> on Friday.<\/p>\n

“I wanted to talk to you because you’re amazing and I’m so excited for you. It’s incredible that you’ve gotten as far as you have with your obvious physical disadvantages,” he told Robbie, drawing laughs from her and the audience. “That’s just pure talent there.”<\/p>\n

The Australian actress, known for playing Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad<\/em> and the upcoming Birds of Prey<\/em>, is nominated for an Oscar at next weekend’s 2020 Oscars<\/a><\/strong> for her supporting performance as a producer who gets sexually harassed by FOX CEO Roger Ailes<\/strong> in Bombshell<\/em>, which also stars Charlize Theron<\/a><\/strong> as Megyn Kelly<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This marks Robbie’s second Oscar nomination. She was nominated for her first in 2018, for her leading role of figure skater Tonya Harding<\/strong> in I, Tonya<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Robbie also plays slain actress Sharon Tate<\/strong> in Quentin Tarantino<\/a><\/strong>‘s film Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood<\/em>, which is nominated for 10 Oscars, including Best Picture.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The 2020 Oscars will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on ABC on Sunday, February 9, at 8 p.m. ET \/ 5 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
