Presley Gerber<\/strong> took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a video of himself at a shooting range.<\/p>\n

“Innocent little me before all the horrid tattoos,” he wrote alongside the clip. “Y’all know nothing #waketfup.”<\/p>\n

He also re-shared an Instagram Stories image of a follower who had a similar “misunderstood” face tattoo and had written “@presleygerber #FU*KWhatTheySay.”<\/p>\n

“#Fu*kWhatTheySay,” Gerber wrote alongside the image. “We on to something…”<\/p>\n

The captions appeared to be references to the “misunderstood” face tattoo<\/a> Gerber got a few days ago. After debuting the new ink on Instagram, Gerber received a bit of criticism from his followers.<\/p>\n

“You’ll regret that decision VERY soon,” one Instagram commenter wrote.<\/p>\n

“Why would you do that to your face?” asked another.<\/p>\n

“Cindy is gonna be madddd lol,” chimed in a third, referencing Gerber’s supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Even celebrity tattoo artist, Jonathan<\/strong> “JonBoy<\/strong>” Valena<\/strong> jokingly wrote “Sorry mom” after finishing Gerber’s design.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Despite all of the backlash, the 20-year-old model defended the tattoo.<\/p>\n

“If I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn’t want this, I wouldn’t have done it,” he reportedly told his followers during an Instagram Live video. “I think that’s a pretty obvious thing.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

He also clapped back<\/a> at his critics.<\/p>\n

“I just wanted to come on here and be, like, if anyone has s–t to say to me about this or anything else and my family or how I grew up or anything, I will give you my address, I promise, and you can come say it to my face,” he added.<\/p>\n

As for the meaning behind the tattoo, Gerber said, “I don’t feel very understood I guess.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
