Sex and the City<\/em> star Lynn Cohen<\/strong> has died at age 86.<\/p>\n

The actress, who played Miranda’s Ukrainian housekeeper and nanny Magda in the hit HBO series and movies, passed away on Friday, her rep told TheWrap<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Cohen, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, began her onscreen acting career in the ’80s, when she also made her Broadway debut in a revival of the play Orpheus Descending. A decade later, she mostly starred in small films and also began a recurring role on Law & Order<\/em> as Judge Elizabeth Mizener.<\/p>\n

The actress’ big break came in 2000, when she joined Sex and the City<\/em>. She also notably played Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir in the 2005 film Munich<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In recent years, she appeared on shows like Nurse Jackie<\/em>, Damages<\/em>, The Affair<\/em> and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel<\/em>. In 2013, she played Mags in the movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Cohen is survived by her husband, Ronald<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
