Jesse Tyler Ferguson<\/a><\/strong>‘s onscreen family was on hand to celebrate the upcoming arrival of his and husband Justin Mikita<\/strong>‘s first child.<\/p>\n

The actor’s Modern Family<\/em> co-stars Sofia Vergara<\/a><\/strong> and Sarah Hyland<\/a><\/strong>attended the couple’s baby shower, which was held at a private residence and featured a backyard pool performance from male synchronized swimmers, set to a medley of songs that included Britney Spears<\/a><\/strong>‘ “…Baby One More Time.”<\/p>\n

“If you don’t have this at your baby shower you’re not doing it right,” Hyland wrote on her Instagram Story. “Just sayin.”<\/p>\n

“Congratulations Jesse and Justin!!!\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f[three baby emojis] we luv iuu!!!” Vergara wrote on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other celebrity guests included Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> star Lisa Rinna<\/a><\/strong>, actor Colton Haynes<\/a><\/strong>, singer Betty Who<\/strong>, hairstylist Jen Atkin <\/strong>and Broadway actress Shoshana Bean<\/strong>, who serenaded Ferguson and Mikita with her cover of Scott Alan<\/strong>‘s song “Home.”<\/p>\n

Ferguson, 44, revealed on The Late Late Show with James Corden<\/em> in January that he and Mikita are expecting a baby in July<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

When asked if the child is a boy or a girl, Ferguson replied, “A human.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
