The cause of death has not been revealed.<\/p>\n<p>The actor&#8217;s mother, <strong>Nancy Davis Rickel<\/strong>, announced the news in a statement to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/jason-davis-dead-grandson-marvin-barbara-davis-was-35-1279608?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;__twitter_impression=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am so heartbroken to share the saddest news of my life that my son Jason Davis passed away this morning in Los Angeles,&#8221; she told the outlet. &#8220;Jason had a true heart of gold with such a zest for life. He was such a caring soul to everybody who ever knew him. He loved his friends and his family above all else. We ask for privacy as we take time to grieve this most devastating loss.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jason portrayed many beloved characters during his lifetime. For instance, he provided the voiceover work for Mikey Blumberg on the Disney cartoon series&nbsp;<em>Recess<\/em>. He also made appearances on hit shows like&nbsp;<em>Roseanne<\/em> and <em>7th Heaven<\/em>. In addition to acting on TV, Jason appeared in a few films. For instance, he appeared in both <em>Beverly Hills Ninja<\/em> and <em>Rush Hour<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"56.5\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"3\">\n<p>Jason was the son of Nancy and wine grower <strong>Nebil Zarif<\/strong>.
