New details about Caroline Flack<\/strong>‘s final days are being uncovered.<\/p>\n

According to multiple reports, an ambulance was called to the Love Island<\/em> host’s London home the night before she died<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We were called shortly after 22:30 on February 14 to a residential property,” a London Ambulance Service spokesperson shared in a statement to E! News. “Crews attended and, following a clinical assessment, the person was not taken to hospital. Due to patient confidentially we cannot comment further.”<\/p>\n

While officials cannot reveal the identity of the person, The Sun<\/em><\/a> and Sky News<\/em><\/a> report that an ambulance was indeed called to Caroline’s home on Valentine’s Day.<\/p>\n

News broke on Saturday that Caroline had passed away. She was 40 years old. A lawyer for Caroline’s family confirmed the TV host took her own life and was found in her east London flat.<\/p>\n

“We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February,” her family said in a statement to the Press Association. “We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Caroline’s boyfriend Lewis Burton<\/strong> would later break his silence<\/a> with a heartfelt post on Instagram.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“My heart is broken,” he shared with special photo. “We had something so special. I am so lost for words I am in so much pain I miss you so much I know you felt safe with me you always said I don’t think about anything else when I am with you and I was not allowed to be there this time I kept asking and asking.”<\/p>\n

Lewis added, “I will be your voice baby I promise I will ask all the questions you wanted and I will get all the answers nothing will bring you back but I will try make you proud everyday. I love you with all my heart.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Caroline’s death comes two months after she announced that she was stepping down as host of Love Island<\/em>, a reality show she hosted since its debut in 2015.<\/p>\n

“Everybody at Love Island<\/em> and ITV is shocked and saddened by this desperately sad news,” a spokesperson for ITV later shared. “Caroline was a much loved member of the Love Island<\/em> team and our sincere thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
