You can&#8217;t stop thinking about it. Moments live on as GIFs. You bond with other viewers about your common love for this departed show. It happens more frequently with reality shows because they&#8217;re cheaper to make and incredibly prevalent on all viewing platforms. One show that hasn&#8217;t left this writer&#8217;s mind was Bravo&#8217;s <em>Princesses: Long Island<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Princesses: Long Island<\/em> seemed like it was going to start a new reality franchise for Bravo, at least if that title colon was to be believed. The 2013 series was a <em>Real Housewives<\/em> for the younger generation, filled with 20somethings and their various drama. But the saga of <strong>Amanda Bertoncini<\/strong>, <strong>Ashlee White<\/strong>, <strong>Casey Cohen<\/strong>, <strong>Chanel &#8220;Coco&#8221; Omari<\/strong>, <strong>Erica Gimbel<\/strong> and <strong>Joey Lauren<\/strong> was a short one.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"58\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"6\">\n<p><em> Princess: Long Island<\/em> lasted just a season and with it any chance of a <em>Princesses<\/em> franchise. But seven years later, I still regularly think about Ashlee calling her mom to send a private plane to take her home from a winery. &#8220;Mom\u2026Help\u2026me,&#8221; she cried.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"video-int-txt-3\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"29.607476635514\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-video-text\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"3.7009345794393\">\n<p>Iconic.<\/p>\n<p>This inability to get over <em>Princesses: Long Island<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chrisharnick\/status\/1235407321754415104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sparked&nbsp;a tweet<\/a>&nbsp;that got way more responses than initially thought.
