Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles<\/a><\/strong>‘ biggest critic is Simone Biles.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old, the most decorated gymnast in the world<\/a>, talked to E! News about competing in the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, while promoting the Japanese cosmetics brand SK-II’s #NoCompetition campaign ahead of this Sunday’s International Women’s Day.<\/p>\n

“t feels pretty insane. I don’t really think about all my accomplishments going in because at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what you’ve done in the past, it’s about what you do on that day,” Biles said. So hopefully it goes well.”<\/p>\n

“I feel like it adds a little to the pressure but I feel like I add more pressure to myself than anybody else, so it’s just up to me,” Biles added.<\/p>\n

The athlete won four gold medals at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.<\/p>\n

Despite the ongoing coronavirus outbreak around the world, the International Olympic Committee announced on Tuesday that the Summer Olympics will start in Tokyo on July 24 as scheduled<\/a>. The group has encouraged athletes to continue prepping for the Games.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

In her interview with E! News, Biles also talked about her partnership with SK-II and revealed the most difficult standard of “beauty” that she’s dealt with.<\/p>\n

“Probably ‘Skinner is better,’ especially being an athlete,” she said. “You want to still be fit but you want to be thin. But there’s a good balance and I feel like at 22, I’ve found it.”<\/p>\n

“I feel like [beauty] starts from the inside and then you can portray that to the outside,” she continued. “I think I feel most beautiful whenever I’m just at home, no makeup, hair in a bun, because that’s like the real, raw beauty of myself.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
