Miley Cyrus<\/a><\/strong> and Cody Simpson<\/a><\/strong>‘s little family just got bigger. <\/p>\n

The couple is now the proud parents<\/a> of a new mixed Shepherd puppy named Bo Cyrus, who has been dubbed Baby Boy Bo by the Australian singer. Excited to share the news of their latest addition, Cody took to Instagram to show off their adorable fur baby.<\/p>\n

“Baby boy Bo,” he captioned his post, where he and Miley can be seen snuggling up to the sweet pup in a family selfie. “Stay safe everyone.” In another snap, the canine appears to be helping his musical parents write some songs<\/a> as he lounges on the couch next to their guitars and typewriter. “Sweet son,” Cody wrote in his Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n

Miley rescued Bo from The Wagmor Luxury Spa, Hotel & Rescue in Studio City, Calif., where she has adopted several of her other pets<\/a> from in the past. During an episode of her Instagram Live show Bright Minded<\/em><\/a>, the “Slide Away” singer revealed she named her little one after her dad Billy Ray Cyrus<\/a><\/strong>, whose nickname was Bo in high school.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Also on hand during the episode was Melissa Bacelar<\/strong>, who is the owner of The Wagmor. After Miley introduced Bo to the world, the duo discussed how the coronavirus outbreak<\/a> has been affecting the animal population and has left many animals needing a home.<\/p>\n

Like Miley and Cody, several other celebrities have been giving back<\/a> by fostering and adopting dogs during the pandemic. On Tuesday, Selena Gomez<\/a><\/strong> debuted her new puppy Daisy<\/a> during an Instagram Live and shared that she wanted to do her part to ensure that animals like Daisy were given “a safe place.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Queer Eye<\/em>‘s Antoni Porowski<\/strong>, Camila Mendes<\/strong>, Camila Morrone<\/strong> and Kyle Chandler<\/a><\/strong>have also helped animals in need by fostering furry ones<\/a> in recent days.<\/p>\n

“It’s very important for us to support local shelters because they’re getting a lot less foot traffic during this pandemic,” Antoni said in a video posted by Austin Pets Alive! “If you can’t commit to adopting, I would encourage fostering as well.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
