Ben shared the heartbreaking news with fans on social media early Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes,&#8221; Ben wrote in a tribute post on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RedHourBen\/status\/1259759084309446657\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter<\/a>. &#8220;He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jerry was known for his roles in <em>Seinfeld<\/em> and <em>The King of Queens<\/em>. He also starred alongside his son in <em>Zoolander<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been exactly five years this month <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/659687\/anne-meara-dies-actress-ben-stiller-s-mother-and-jerry-stiller-s-wife-was-85\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">since the death<\/a> of <strong>Anne Meara<\/strong>, Jerry&#8217;s wife and Ben&#8217;s mom. The actress passed away in May 2015 at the age of 85. Anne had also starred on <em>The King of Queens<\/em>, as well as <em>Sex and the City<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"56.5\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"3\">\n<p>In 2006, Anne starred alongside her son in <em>Night at the Museum<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"video-int-txt-3\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"32.5\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-video-text\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"5\">\n<p>&#8220;The Stiller family is deeply saddened to share the beloved Anne Meara passed away last night at the age of 85,&#8221; Ben&#8217;s rep said in a statement in 2015. &#8220;She is survived by her husband and partner in life Jerry Stiller.
