Bringing people together around a love for racing and the community that it creates is what makes our fans and sport special. The display of the Confederate flag will be prohibited from all NASCAR events and properties,&#8221; the statement <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nascar\/status\/1270819350644211719?s=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">read<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Just two days ago,&nbsp;<strong>Bubba Wallace<\/strong>,&nbsp;the first full-time Black driver on NASCAR&#8217;s top circuit in more than four decades, publicly&nbsp;encouraged NASCAR to remove the flags.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>______<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bubba Wallace<\/strong> is calling &#8220;to get rid of all Confederate flags&#8221; at the racetracks.<\/p>\n<p>During a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/06\/09\/us\/bubba-wallace-confederate-flag-trnd\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNN<\/a> interview with <strong>Don Lemon<\/strong>, the&nbsp;26-year-old NASCAR driver said this should be a &#8220;next step.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No one should feel uncomfortable when they come to a NASCAR race. So, it starts with Confederate flags,&#8221; Wallace said on Monday. &#8220;Get them out of here.
