The nominees for the 2019 BET Awards were announced today and, needless to say, we’re in for one epic show. Okurrr?<\/p>\n

Cardi B<\/a><\/strong> leads the pack with seven nods\u2014including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist<\/a> and Album of the Year\u2014followed by Drake<\/a><\/strong>, who has five opportunities to win big<\/a>. (He’s up for Video of the Year, Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Best Collaboration<\/a>.) Beyonc\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>, Travis Scott<\/a><\/strong> and J.Cole<\/strong> are also among the top nominees, with each being recognized in four categories.<\/p>\n

As far as movies and television go, Issa Rae<\/a><\/strong>, Regina Hall<\/strong>, Regina King<\/strong>, Taraji P. Henson<\/a><\/strong>, Tiffany Haddish<\/a><\/strong> and Viola Davis<\/a><\/strong> are up for the coveted Best Actress title. Meanwhile, Anthony Anderson<\/a><\/strong>, Chadwick Boseman<\/a><\/strong>, Denzel Washington<\/a><\/strong>, Mahershala Ali<\/a><\/strong>, Michael B. Jordan<\/a><\/strong> and Omari Hardwick<\/strong> will duke it out for Best Actor.<\/p>\n
