“Simba, you have to take your place, as king.”<\/p>\n

Disney has released a new preview for The Lion King<\/em>, Jon Favreau<\/a><\/strong>‘s CGI-live-action remake<\/a> of the beloved film, set for release on July 19. In the new teaser, we hear superstar Beyonc\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> voicing the role of Nala for the very first time, telling Simba (voiced by Donald Glover<\/a><\/strong>) that he needs to take his place as king.<\/p>\n

“We need you,” she tells him, as we’re shown stunning visuals from the upcoming movie. “Come home.”<\/p>\n

The 30-second teaser ends with a hilarious bit from Timon (Billy Eichner<\/strong>) and Pumbaa (Seth Rogen<\/a><\/strong>) announcing their arrival.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“Calm down, we’re here,” the duo announces. “The backup has arrived.”<\/p>\n

The highly-anticipated film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor<\/a><\/strong> as the voice of Scar and James Earl Jones<\/strong> as the voice of Mufasa.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
