Benchmark Road in Avon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">These two wellness businesses have recently renovated the space to offer a full range of services, from float tanks and massage to waxing and skin care.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Dream &amp; Dreams Float Spa co-founder Dimitar Minkov\u2019s wellness journey started simply with practicing a healthy lifestyle. He heard about floating in 2013 and soon after experienced his first float session.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cSince then, floating has become a regular and important practice that helps me balance all aspects of my life,\u201d Minkov said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">He and massage therapist Ivaylo Stoyanov recently opened up Dream &amp; Dreams Float Spa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cIvaylo is a seasoned massage therapist who has worked at some of the best, high-end resort spas in the Vail Valley,\u201d Minkov said. \u201cHe is extremely knowledgeable with extensive training experience here, in the United States as well as in Thailand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">It was the cumulative positive effect that floating had on their bodies and minds that inspired the duo to open the float spa, Minkov said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cIt also came from the absence of options for this service in the Vail Valley,\u201d he said. \u201cWe wanted to create a space where we, and our community, could experience this wonderful and healing treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText Subhead\">Taking a \u2018Shortcut\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Minkov said the float tank is a powerful tool that helps speed his recovery time from athletic endeavors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cAside from the sense of well-being I get from floating, afterward it provides me with excellent sleep and even allows me to take a \u2018shortcut\u2019 into deep meditation,\u201d he said. \u201cThe \u2018magic\u2019 of floatation therapy lies in the sensory-deprived and free-from-gravity environment inside the tank.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">People float to improve their quality of life, he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cIt helps to relieve stress, recover from injuries, enhance creativity, fight addiction, decrease anxiety and depression, eliminate chronic pain and so much more,\u201d Minkov said. \u201cWithout the need to fight gravity or take in external information, you\u2019ll likely experience the most complete relaxation you\u2019ve ever felt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Minkov said sharing the space with Wax It Skin Studio started as a natural collaboration. Wax It offers waxing services, specialty eyebrow treatments including microblading, and customized, organic facials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cThis summer, we plan on offering a variety of health and wellness workshops in partnership with other local businesses in our community,\u201d he said. \u201cOur mission as a team is to enhance and elevate your overall state of well-being, mind, body and spirit alike.
