She’s back! Mandy Moore<\/a><\/strong> is making new music…and we have the pictures to prove it!<\/p>\n

It’s been almost 20 years since Moore dropped “Candy,” the debut single off of her first album, So Real<\/em>. With the help of the track’s iconic music video<\/a>, a then-15-year-old Moore burst onto the pop music scene alongside Britney Spears<\/a><\/strong> and Christina Aguilera<\/a><\/strong>. As we approach the song’s 20-year anniversary, occurring this August, Moore is teasing new music for her fans.<\/p>\n

While Moore has been focused on acting, delivering incredible performances on This Is Us<\/em> in recent years, it seems as though she’s never lost her passion for music.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

On Thursday, Moore took to Instagram to share a series of photos from a recording studio, taken by Jonny Cournoyer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“In the middle of making new music with some of my favorite people ever,” Moore wrote on Instagram, tagging musician Mike Viola<\/strong>, husband Taylor Goldsmith<\/strong> and his band Dawes<\/strong>, as well as Jason Boesel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
