In the exclusive featurette below, Song takes a look back at her Disney Channel roles over the years and reflects on what they meant to her and how much fun she had playing them,&nbsp;alongside some clips (Yay me!) that will surely bring back some beautiful childhood (and teen-hood) memories.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"67\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"24\">\n<p>&#8220;Returning to the Disney Channel really feels like coming home,&#8221; she says. &#8220;I grew up on Disney, like literally.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As for her faves, she starts with what might just be everybody&#8217;s fave: London Tipton, of <em>The Suite Life of Zack&nbsp;&amp; Cody<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She&#8217;s like a huge part of me now, because I played her for almost eight years,&#8221; Song says.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She also gives a shoutout to Wendy Wu, lead of <em>Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I loved Wendy Wu,&#8221; she says. &#8220;It was the first time I had the opportunity to play the lead telling a story about the struggles of being a 16 year-old Asian-American, all the while, having this crazy curse on her and doing martial arts and having to go to homecoming. It was a lot of fun.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-4\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"57\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"4\">\n<p>Song also explains a bit about her new character on <em>Amphibia<\/em>, including which of her other character she&#8217;s most like.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-5\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"65.81891025641\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"23.576923076923\">\n<p><em>Amphibia<\/em> follows Anne (Song), a 13 year-old Thai-American girl who steals a mysterious treasure chest and is magically transported to Amphibia, a wild marshland full of talking frog-people. She befriends one of the frog-people, an adventurous young frog named Sprig Plantar, who will guide her to be a true hero. <strong>Justin Felbinger<\/strong> voices Sprig, and other characters are played by <strong>Amanda Leighton<\/strong>, <strong>Bill Farmer<\/strong>, <strong>Tony Hale<\/strong>, <strong>Chris Sullivan<\/strong>, <strong>Stephen Root<\/strong>, <strong>Anna Akana<\/strong>, <strong>Jack McBrayer<\/strong>, <strong>Matt Jones<\/strong>, <strong>Tara Lipinski<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/johnny_weir\">Johnny Weir<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>Diedrich Bader<\/strong>, <strong>Kevin McDonald<\/strong>, and <strong>James Patrick Stuart<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Amphibia<\/em> premieres June 17 on Disney Channel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1047317\/nostalgia-alert-brenda-song-looks-back-at-her-disney-channel-past-ahead-of-amphibia-return?cmpid=rss-000000-rssfeed-365-topstories&#038;utm_source=eonline&#038;utm_medium=rssfeeds&#038;utm_campaign=rss_topstories\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: E!
