Country icon Clint Black is commemorating the 30th anniversary of his groundbreaking debut album \u201cKillin\u2019 Time,\u201d which all but altered the landscape of country music, with a concert at the Dillon Amphitheater on Wednesday, June 26.<\/p>\n

Black surged to superstardom as part of the fabled Class of \u201989, reaching No. 1 with five consecutive singles from his triple-platinum debut. He followed that with the triple-platinum \u201cPut Yourself in My Shoes,\u201d and then a string of platinum and gold albums throughout the \u201990s. Perhaps most impressively, Clint wrote or cowrote every one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including \u201cA Better Man,\u201d \u201cWhere Are You Now,\u201d \u201cWhen My Ship Comes In,\u201d \u201cA Good Run of Bad Luck,\u201d \u201cSummer\u2019s Comin\u2019,\u201d \u201cLike the Rain\u201d and \u201cNothin\u2019 But the Taillights.\u201d Along the way, he\u2019s earned more than a dozen gold and platinum awards in the U.S. and Canada, landed nearly two dozen major awards and nominations, won a Grammy Award, countless Country Music Association, American Music Awards and Academy of Country Music Awards, as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.<\/p>\n

In 2018 Clint produced his first ever holiday musical, titled \u201cLooking For Christmas,\u201d which focuses on family, love and the magic of Christmas.<\/p>\n
