Leg after leg, one team would be sent home until one made it to the final mat, earning themselves a grand prize of $1 million dollars.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When <em>The Amazing Race<\/em> premiered on CBS in 2001, it was an instant hit with both viewers captivated by both the stunning visuals and entertaining game play and industry heavyhitters, who&#8217;ve awarded it 10 Emmys for Outstanding Competition Program since the category was introduced in 2003, leaving it in a league of its own. (Only The Voice comes remotely close to its record, with four wins.) And just last night, venerable host <strong>Phil Keoghan<\/strong>\u2014who, like <strong>Jeff Probst, Julie Chen<\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/ryan_seacrest\">Ryan Seacrest<\/a><\/strong>, has been around since day one and become truly an irreplaceable part of the show&#8217;s DNA\u2014handed over the show&#8217;s 31st check for $1 million to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1052552\/who-won-the-amazing-race-season-31\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">winners<\/a> <strong>Colin Guinn<\/strong> and <strong>Christie Woods<\/strong> after a season that saw teams of returning players, as well as teams from <em>Big Brother<\/em> and <em>Survivor<\/em>, race around the globe.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"62\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"14\">\n<p>The finale got us thinking: What have the other teams who were lucky enough to split a cool million bucks between the two of them been up to since their globetrotting days? Unlike winners on shows like American Idol or America&#8217;s Got Talent or Survivor, even, winners on The Amazing Race tend to be heard from less often, so we thought we&#8217;d track them down. And honestly, it proved more difficult that we ever imagined. But we did it for you because we care.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And before you panic about not every winning team being feature, just know that we tried our best. And while they don&#8217;t still work together all these years later\u2014Brennan is a partner at a Los Angeles film specializing in patent, trademark, and copyright law, while Rob works as an attorney at a different firm in the area and writes for TV and film in his spare time\u2014they have remained as close as ever. According to Brennan&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BqgJwfegiaq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram<\/a>, the two spent Thanksgiving 2018 together. And it appears they were right, as Alex&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BJrVT9SjlaW\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Insta<\/a> account is peppered with photos of the two spending time together. A few years after winning, Chris, who has no social media presence that we could find, married his long-time girlfriend in 2004 and settled down in Florida, while Alex used his platform to carve out a career in the entertainment industry. After hosting shows like <em>At the Chef&#8217;s Table<\/em> and <em>What&#8217;s Cooking with Alex<\/em> for production company Pineridge Film and Television, he partnered with <em>Survivor<\/em> contestant <strong>Burton Roberts<\/strong> to create production company Around The World Productions, which has produced shows like <em>Around the World For Free, Jeff and Jordan Do America<\/em>, and <em>Rach to the Rescue<\/em> for <em>The Rachael Ray Show<\/em>. He&#8217;s worked as a correspondent for <em>CBS This Morning<\/em>, as well as guest host for VH1&#8217;s <em>Big Morning Buzz<\/em>. After starting a production career of his own at NBC Sports in 2004, he worked his way through the industry and has been the Vice President at The History Channel since July 2018, according to his LinkedIn. In 2009, he opened up to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalgeographic.com\/adventure\/adventure-blog\/2009\/09\/27\/prepping-for-the-new-season-of-the-amazing-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Geographic<\/a><\/em> on what he did with his half of the million dollar prize, telling the publication he bought &#8220;some new computers and an iPod, which at the time was the latest technology&#8221; and put the rest away, investing and saving while taking his wife on &#8220;some great trips.&#8221; Flo, on the other hand, is currently the vice president of PR at venture capital firm MacAndrews &amp; Forbes. In 2010, she began dating TV anchor, legal commentator, and current <em>Live P.D.<\/em> host <strong>Dan Abrams<\/strong> and, in 2012, gave birth to their son <strong>Everett Floyd Abrams<\/strong>. Following their split, pilot and&nbsp;model Reichen made headlines for briefly dating <strong>Lance Bass<\/strong> as he dipped his toe in the entertainment industry, guest starring on <em>Frasier, The Young and the Restless<\/em> and <em>Days of Our Lives,<\/em> while landing a spot in the cast of Logo&#8217;s former reality series <em>The A-List<\/em>. In 2013, he went to law school and has worked as the CEO of LeaseLock since 2012. After running the race, they began touring as motivational speakers available to &#8220;energize and inspire your company to win together as a team,&#8221; per their LinkedIn page. They founded PeopleStar FilmWorks alongside their son CJ to &#8220;bring their expertise in television and film to your business via corporate video production. Nick is married with children and had spent eight years living in Manhattan Beach, Calif. before moving back to Cincinnatti. At the time, he was partner at Tripack, a manufacturing company, but was made president in January 2018. Alex is also married and a young father and was working in sales at a food packing company until March of this year, when he joined Nick at Tripack. Megan is also married with a handful of kids, with her mom reporting in 2015 that she was a stay-at-home mom. After meeting girlfriend <strong>Kelly Hennigan<\/strong> in 2012 at a friend&#8217;s wedding, he popped the question on their two-year anniversary and they tied the knot on Sept. 26, 2015 after going viral with an epic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=f4vnqx9HFLY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Save the Date video<\/a>. They&#8217;ve since welcomed a child.
