Happy birthday, Hoda Kotb<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

The Today<\/em> host turns 55 today and her milestone birthday follows a year of dreams come true<\/a> for her career and family.<\/p>\n

In November, she got the opportunity for the first time to co-host the beloved Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade<\/em> show alongside Al Roker<\/a><\/strong> and Savannah Guthrie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There have been bittersweet moments as well. Kotb’s long-time co-host and friend Kathie Lee Gifford<\/a><\/strong> announced in December she would be exiting<\/a> the fourth hour of Today<\/em> in April.<\/p>\n

“When she walks in a room, she changes it and when she steps into your life and holds your hand, she changes it,” Kotb told E! News’ Jason Kennedy<\/a><\/strong> of her TV partner of 11 years. “It’s hard to think that I won’t get to see her in the mornings. I’ll still see her, but I’ll miss her. I’ll miss everything.” Kotb is now hosting the hour alongside<\/a> Jenna Hager Bush<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She also penned a second children’s book, You Are My Happy<\/em>, just in time to read to a special someone…her second child!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Two years after adopting Haley Joy<\/strong>, Kotb surprised her morning show co-workers in April when she called in<\/a> to announce she secretly adopted her second daughter, Hope Catherine<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

“My God, my heart just grew,” she said of the moment they handed baby Hope to her. “I can’t believe it’s happening, y’all.”<\/p>\n

With her long-time partner Joel Schiffman<\/strong>, Kotb’s family has now grown to four. Let’s grab a glass of wine and toast to the celeb’s cutest family pictures!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
