{"id":28636,"date":"2019-08-10T13:59:58","date_gmt":"2019-08-10T19:59:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/?p=59351"},"modified":"2019-08-12T16:47:32","modified_gmt":"2019-08-12T22:47:32","slug":"work-on-cr-8-bridge-to-begin-monday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kift\/local-news\/work-on-cr-8-bridge-to-begin-monday\/","title":{"rendered":"Work on CR 8 bridge to begin Monday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After being delayed a few weeks due to the height of the Fraser River, the project to replace the bridge on County Road 8 is slated to begin Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The bridge, which has received a poor inspection rating from the state for at least the last 10 years, will be replaced as part of the Colorado Department of Transportation\u2019s off-highway bridge replacement program.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/news\/fraser-to-begin-setting-up-road-detours-ahead-of-cr-8-bridge-replacement\/\">The $1.2 million project<\/a> is expected to take around three months, during which time County Road 8 will be closed to through traffic from US Highway 40 to Waipiti Drive. <\/p>\n<p>The road closure will impact Fraser\u2019s Meadow Ridge and Winter Park Ranch neighborhoods, as well as the Lift line that runs through them. Fraser is putting up detour information in the surrounding area to inform drivers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"swift-infobox p402_hide \">\n<div class=\"module module-promo card shadow-sm\">\n<div class=\"card-header\"><i class=\"fas fa-info-circle\"><\/i> Detour Info<\/div>\n<div class=\"card-body\">\n<p>County Road 8 will be closed from US Highway 40 to Waipiti Drive for the duration of the project. Multiple detour signs and routes will go up this week to inform drivers.<br \/>\nThe main detour route will utilize County Road 804 and its connection at Cranmer Avenue to help drivers navigate through the Meadow Ridge and Winter Park Ranch neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lift changes<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Summer Lift line will not be servicing the Twin Rivers, Waipiti and Ermine, Lower Waipiti and Fox Run stops for the duration of the project.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- END .card-body --> <\/div>\n<p><!-- END .module --> <\/div>\n<p><!-- END .swift-infobox --> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After being delayed a few weeks due to the height of the Fraser River, the project to replace the bridge on County Road 8 is slated to begin Monday.
