Water<br \/>\ncapacity is 99%. Water clarity is about 10 feet. <\/p>\n<p>With the \u201cdog days\u201d of summer now upon us, the lake trout<br \/>\nbite has dropped off, but we are still catching them in 80-90 feet of water on<br \/>\nsmall grubs or tubes tipped with sucker meat.<\/p>\n<p>Scent attractant seems to help get the fish to bite.<br \/>\nPatience is key this time of year.<\/p>\n<p>The rainbow bite has also slowed, but bank fishermen are catching a few fish lake wide bottom fishing with bait. There is a good population of small rainbows surface feeding early morning where the river meets the lake near the driftwood piles. Fly and bubble will work best on them. Northern pike and kokanee salmon are slow.<br \/><em>\u2014 Randy H Guide &#8211; Fishing with Bernie<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grand Lake: <\/strong>A few<br \/>\nrainbows are being caught early and late around the inlets. A few browns have<br \/>\nbeen caught casting around boat docks early and late in the day. Lake trout are<br \/>\nbeing caught on small jigs and spoons tipped with sucker meat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lake Granby: <\/strong>Look<br \/>\nfor rainbows in the back of the bays feeding on bugs just before dark. Small<br \/>\nspoons are working well. A few kokanee are starting are starting to show up in<br \/>\nGrand Bay. Lake trout are being caught in 50-100 feet of water. Trollers are<br \/>\ncatching a few on spoons, and jiggers are doing well with twisters, heavy<br \/>\nspoons and tubes. The last report mentioned patience with your spots.
