Dean Unglert<\/strong> is back.<\/p>\n

The reality star opened up about returning to Bachelor in Paradise<\/em>\u2014and reuniting with his ex Kristina Schulman<\/strong>\u2014on Wednesday’s episode of Help! I Suck at Dating<\/em>.<\/p>\n

As fans will recall, Schulman and Unglert formed a relationship on season four of Bachelor in Paradise<\/em>. However, she ended up leaving the show after he also formed a romantic connection with Danielle<\/strong> Lombard<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

While some might expect there to be tension between the exes, Unglert insisted that this wasn’t the case. <\/p>\n

“So walking into Paradise<\/em> for the second time with one of my exes on the beach\u2026you would think it would be a little awkward,” he said. “But in all honesty, it wasn’t.” <\/p>\n

In fact, Unglert texted Schulman before coming on the show and gave her a heads up that he was thinking of joining the cast. He also claimed he would “fully support” her if she formed a relationship with someone on the show.<\/p>\n

“I basically was telling her I hope this isn’t going to be awkward,” he said, summarizing his text. “If you’re interested in someone down there, I hope you know that you have my vote of confidence or, like, my vote of support for you.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Fans also watched Unglert pull her aside once he arrived to touch base.<\/p>\n

“It really wasn’t super awkward,” he said.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

While Unglert acknowledged the two have “a lot of history down on that beach,” he also noted she has a “history” with Blake Horstmann<\/strong>. As fans are well aware, Schulman told Horstmann she felt disrespected after learning he hooked up<\/a> with both her and Caelynn Miller-Keyes<\/strong> at Stagecoach.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Miller-Keyes, Unglert also discussed his one-on-one date<\/a> with the season 23 star and how he really feels<\/a> about Horstmann posting his private text exchange with Miller-Keyes on Instagram.<\/p>\n
