{"id":35080,"date":"2019-11-11T12:17:06","date_gmt":"2019-11-11T19:17:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/?p=61435"},"modified":"2019-11-11T12:17:06","modified_gmt":"2019-11-11T19:17:06","slug":"hearing-for-marijuana-dispensary-outside-granby-postponed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kift\/local-news\/hearing-for-marijuana-dispensary-outside-granby-postponed\/","title":{"rendered":"Hearing for marijuana dispensary outside Granby postponed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tuesday&#8217;s public hearing for a proposed marijuana dispensary outside Granby has been postponed.<\/p>\n<p>Originally scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, the hearing for IgadI&#8217;s application to open a new retail marijuana store in Grand County has been removed from the county commissioners\u2019 agenda. <\/p>\n<p>David Michel, general counsel for IgadI, said the company has not withdrawn its application, and he expects the hearing to be rescheduled. A new date has not yet been determined.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the postponed hearing, a number of Granby residents have already voiced their support and their opposition to the proposed dispensary.<\/p>\n<p>The Granby Board of Trustees also sent the county commissioners a letter expressing the board&#8217;s opposition while requesting the county deny IgadI&#8217;s application.<\/p>\n<p>The application would put the proposed dispensary at 843 W. Agate Ave., which is not actually within town limits, so the county has jurisdiction over the application.<\/p>\n<p>If approved, the store would be IgadI&#8217;s second location in Grand County with the first store in Tabernash.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tuesday&#8217;s public hearing for a proposed marijuana dispensary outside Granby has been postponed.
