{"id":35676,"date":"2019-11-18T15:42:58","date_gmt":"2019-11-18T22:42:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/?p=61585"},"modified":"2019-11-18T15:42:58","modified_gmt":"2019-11-18T22:42:58","slug":"carol-d-windsor-1939-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kift\/community\/carol-d-windsor-1939-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Carol D Windsor, 1939-2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Carol D Windsor, 80, of Grand Lake passed away after a prolonged illness on November 16, 2019 at Kremmling Memorial Hospital in Kremmling, Colorado with her husband Gary at her side, along with dear friends and her miniature Australian shepherd Teddy.<\/p>\n<p>Carol was born April 27, 1939 in Delaware to Forrest and<br \/>\nEthel Durgin. Carol worked for the DuPont company in Delaware as an executive<br \/>\nassistant until moving to Grand Lake, Colorado with her husband Gary in January<br \/>\n1976.<\/p>\n<p>Carol started working seasonally as a ski instructor at Winter Park Resort, eventually becoming manager of the resort&#8217;s children\u2019s ski school center until retiring in 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Carol enjoyed skiing in winter and board sailing on Lake<br \/>\nGranby and various places in the Caribbean. Carol and her husband enjoyed<br \/>\ntraveling to warmer climates primarily surrounded by a body of water.<\/p>\n<p>Carol will be missed immensely by her husband Gary and many<br \/>\nfriends, as well as her family back in Delaware.<\/p>\n<p>A celebration of life will take place at a future date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carol D Windsor, 80, of Grand Lake passed away after a prolonged illness on November 16, 2019 at Kremmling Memorial Hospital in Kremmling, Colorado with her husband Gary at her side, along with dear friends and her miniature Australian shepherd Teddy.
