Carol D Windsor, 80, of Grand Lake passed away after a prolonged illness on November 16, 2019 at Kremmling Memorial Hospital in Kremmling, Colorado with her husband Gary at her side, along with dear friends and her miniature Australian shepherd Teddy.<\/p>\n
Carol was born April 27, 1939 in Delaware to Forrest and
\nEthel Durgin. Carol worked for the DuPont company in Delaware as an executive
\nassistant until moving to Grand Lake, Colorado with her husband Gary in January
\n1976.<\/p>\n
Carol started working seasonally as a ski instructor at Winter Park Resort, eventually becoming manager of the resort’s children\u2019s ski school center until retiring in 2001.<\/p>\n
Carol enjoyed skiing in winter and board sailing on Lake
\nGranby and various places in the Caribbean. Carol and her husband enjoyed
\ntraveling to warmer climates primarily surrounded by a body of water.<\/p>\n
Carol will be missed immensely by her husband Gary and many
\nfriends, as well as her family back in Delaware.<\/p>\n
