Their class made 26 “C” caterpillars and mailed 25 of them to schools around the country participating in the project. The schools, in turn, made the letter that they were assigned and mailed them to Devore’s kinders. Many of the letters had friendly notes enclosed about their school and communities, which were read and enjoyed by the class. The alphabet letters were laminated and put into a flipbook for the kids to enjoy and remember their Kindergarten Alphabet Exchange Project.

• Just a friendly reminder from Fraser Valley that our student project of the crossing guard program was enacted to help improve parking lot safety. We are asking parents to help by using the crossing zones with their children and following the drop off protocol of not getting out of the car, unless the car is parked in an appropriate space. Let’s all be safe.

• A correction from last week’s article: Some of our GES students are participating in a five-week Nordic ski program through NSCD.
