It has been overwhelmed with patrons and community support since, often with lines out the door.<\/p>\n<div class=\"swift-infobox p402_hide alignleft\">\n<div class=\"module module-promo card shadow-sm\">\n<div class=\"card-header\"><i class=\"fas fa-info-circle\"><\/i> If you go&#8230;<\/div>\n<div class=\"card-body\">\n<p>What: Debbie&#8217;s Drive In<\/p>\n<p>Where: 663 W Agate Ave, Granby<\/p>\n<p>When: 11 a.m.-7 p.m., every day<\/p>\n<p>More info: Facebook.com\/debbiesdriveingranby\/<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- END .card-body --> <\/div>\n<p><!-- END .module --> <\/div>\n<p><!-- END .swift-infobox --> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t say enough nice things about the people in Granby, how warm the welcome has been and how helpful people have been to us,\u201d Fitch said. \u201cIt\u2019s an unbelievable sense of community in Granby that is unprecedented, and I don\u2019t think you can find that anywhere else.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fitch describes the restaurant as \u201cslow food served fast,\u201d a place where guests are served quality food in a quick manner. They opened their first restaurant, Squeaky B\u2019s, in June of that year and went on to open Lulu City and Cork on the Water in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The move to include a Granby location had to do with the larger, year round community found in the town, along with the vacant building. As a member of the Grand County Tourism Board, Fitch says she\u2019s very aware of the negative effect empty buildings can have on a community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPearl Dragon moved to their new location and this was just<br \/>\nsitting there vacant,\u201d Fitch said. \u201cWe just kept driving by thinking we should<br \/>\ndo something.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After leasing the building, Fitch and her family sat inside contemplating what their restaurant would look like. They decided the building &#8220;wanted&#8221; to be a throwback in time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t even know what year the building was built, but we<br \/>\nthought it would be so fun to bring it back to that, feeling that nostalgic<br \/>\nvibe so to speak,\u201d Fitch said.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurants are truly a family business for Fitch, whose partners include her husband Cameron Fitch and son Jonah Landy. When her younger children, Drew Landy and Tessa Fitch, aren\u2019t in class, they also help out at the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorking with my whole family is such a blessing in itself,\u201d<br \/>\nFitch said.<\/p>\n<p>While this is the family\u2019s first business in Granby, it doesn&#8217;t look like it will be the last.
