Did you know that 7 out of 10 teens agree it would be much easier for them to postpone sexual activity and avoid teen pregnancy if they were able to have more open, honest conversations about these topics with their parents? *National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy

If you are a Parent, Teacher, Coach, Mentor, Pastor, Aunt, Uncle or Friend of a teen, this class is designed for you to learn how to be the “askable adult”, find answers to tough questions and support the teens in your life.

    About the class:

What Were You Thinking?  Adolescent brain development and risky behaviors

    • In this workshop, participants will receive an overview of the brain during adolescence and how it relates to the decisions and behaviors of teens.
    • We will explore arousal addiction, in particular the prevalence and impact of internet pornography.
    • We will provide adults with tools and strategies for guiding teens through adolescence.

Participants will leave with resources and tools to have more open and productive conversations with teens about risky decisions
