Uh-oh. Katy Perry‘s new shoe line has been accused of blackface.
The “Roar” singer has come under fire after people noticed that her show—the “Rue FaceSlip on Loafers” and its high-heeled version, “Ora Face Block Heel Sandal”—resemble blackface. The scrutiny is so bad TMZ reports the collection is being pulled from store shelves.

TMZ‘s sources say Perry’s design was not meant to be offensive, however, they’ve acknowledged why people’s concerns. “In order to be respectful and sensitive the team is in the process of pulling the shoes,” the insider revealed.
