(AP) \u2014 A third lawsuit has been filed against a closed Colorado funeral home, accusing the owner of harvesting body parts without permission and selling them for profit.<\/p>\n<p>Terry Thorsby, of Durango, filed a civil complaint against Megan Hess and her business, Sunset Mesa Funeral Directors, after receiving information from the FBI that her mother&#8217;s body parts were sold instead of being cremated and returned to the family.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Sentinel\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gjsentinel.com\/news\/western_colorado\/rd-lawsuit-filed-against-funeral-home-in-montrose\/article_d61b7f6e-130e-11e9-8dbc-10604b9f1ff4.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a>\u00a0that the lawsuit was filed Friday in Montrose District Court.<\/p>\n<p>Colorado regulators shut down the funeral home after investigations showed it misplaced one person&#8217;s ashes and gave a family dry concrete in place of ashes.
